Flesh thoughts and feelings did indeed cover and hide God’s truth with English “thereby” in Hebrews 12:11 and throughout the bible which necessitates 2Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. Just this morning a TV preacher, while advertising his ministry said “I don’t understand all of the bible but I believe all of the bible”. That is an incredibly ignorant statement. Why would anyone want that guy to be their spiritual grammatical subject? Greek preposition 5228 huper means over in the genitive case, as a grammatical subject is over their grammatical objects. Greek preposition 5228 huper  was 104 times translated  into English “for” exemplified by Luke 22:19-20 and John 6:51 “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me” “Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you” “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world”. The bible phrase “heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears” means that human beings are the grammatical objects of human grammatical subjects who tell them what they want to hear. The 12^th chapter of Hebrews gives us a brief synopsis of what it is like to be God’s grammatical objects. I loathe the English words righteous and righteousness because they are usually  self righteous and self righteousness rather than God’s definition of right.

English “thereby” in Hebrews 12:11 was intentionally mistranslated from Greek preposition 1223 dia meaning through as the channel of an act and Greek generic pronoun 846 autos which was 1,952 times translated into English “him” and in the context of Hebrews 12:11“him” is God. Ask yourself who would benefit from changing God’s true words through God into the ambiguous adjective “thereby”?
