Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

No wonder God in the embodiment of Jesus Christ said “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me” “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men”. Why do you think he said “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”? Greek neuter noun 4487 rhema are words directly from the lips of the speaker.  Flesh thoughts and feelings can not hide and cover words spoken directly from the lips of God.
