English “will commit to” your “trust” emboldened in Luke 16:11 “If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches”? was translated from Greek verb 4100 pisteuo which was 239 times translated into various tenses of “believe”. Greek verb 4102 pistis was 239 times translated into English “faith”. Greek adjective 4103 pistos was translated into “faithful” in Revelation 17:14 “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful”.  English “chosen” emboldened in Revelation 17:14 was translated from Greek adjective 1588 eklektos which is the adjective form of Greek verb 1586 eklegomai and Greek feminine noun 1589 ekloge who are God’s “seven thousand” “elect” “election” “chosen” by God to consummate God’s covenant with Abraham and the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel and the rest of the world as documented in 1Timothy 2:3-6 and Romans 11:4-7, 26-32 and the fathers’ noted in Romans 11:28 are the fathers emboldened in Romans 15:8 that follows in next post.

1Timothy 4:10 “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe”. People who erroneously believe they are “born again” and “saved” during this earth age need to set aside flesh criteria in deference to God’s actual spiritual criteria.

In the context of Romans 15:7 the point reached and entered into is “the glory of God”.

I bring this to your attention because English “chosen” in Acts 9:15 and John 15:16 were translated from Greek noun 1589 ekloge and Greek verb 1586 eklegomai respectively, which are the noun and verb forms of Greek adjective 1588 eklektos which the bible 16 times describes and qualifies God’s “elect”. Acts 9:15 referring to the apostle Paul and John 15:16 referring to the other 11 apostles {after the demise of Judas Iscariot} say “But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel” and “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”. Greek noun 1589 ekloge was translated into English “election” in Romans 11:4-7 “But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal” “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace” “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work” “What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded” and “the rest” who “were blinded” is everyone other than God’s “seven thousand” “election”.  This is important because when you see the bible words “we” “us” “us-ward” “our” and “ourselves” the bible writers are referring to God’s “seven thousand” “elect” “election” “chosen” by God and has nothing to do with the world’s 4,351 religions who are among “the rest” who “were blinded”.  Greek adjective 1588 eklektos was translated into English “chosen” in Revelation 17:14 “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful”. English “faithful” emboldened in Revelation 17:14 was translated from Greek adjective 4103 pistos meaning “faithful”. I bring this to your attention because Greek adjective 4103 pistos which was 53 times correctly translated into English “faithful” as was the case in 1Timothy 4:9 was mistranslated into “of those that believe” in 1Timothy 4:10 “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation” “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe” which should obviously be those that are faithful. The English words “believe” and “faith” are predicates of the Greek verb 3982 peitho meaning to persuade. If anyone other than God performs the action of Greek verb 3982 peitho their grammatical objects are not faithful to God and their belief and faith become immaterial to God.

Back to English “not” in Romans 14:1 which was translated from Greek particle 3361 me which is a primary particle of qualified negation which was 486 times translated into English “not” and 44 times translated into English “no” while Greek particle 3756 ou {often used as an adverb} always meaning absolute negation was 1,210 times translated into English “not” and 147 times translated into English “no” exemplifying why God’s truth does not reside in the English words but rather in the Hebrew and Greek words from which the English words were translated.
