English “volume” in Hebrews 10:7 was translated from Greek feminine noun 2777 kephalis being the knobs [little heads] at the ends of wooden rods to which animal skin parchments and papyrus writing materials were attached. Animal skin parchments were hand written upon in Hebrew and papyrus pages were hand written upon in Greek. Greek noun 2776 kephale was correctly translated 76 times into English “head”. Greek noun 2777 kephalis truly means little heads, in this context, better translated into knobs. The etymology of English volume is from Latin volumen being a “scroll” from Latin volvere that means “to roll”. My King James Bible contains 783,137 English words every one of which was translated by infinitely fallible flesh human beings from Old Testament Hebrew words hand written on animal skin parchments and New Testament Greek words hand written on papyrus scrolls. Which is why the last four verses in the bible say “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book” “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen”.
