Day Of The Lord Jesus Is Thousand Years

Romans 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

English “day” emboldened in Romans 14:6 were both translated from the Greek feminine noun 2250 hemera which was most insightfully translated into English “day” in 2Peter 3:8-10 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”. “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing” the day of the Lord” is the “thousand years” between this earth age and the eternal age that follows. God’s “seven thousand” “election” “shall” “come unto the knowledge of the truth” during this earth age and “shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years” when they will cause “the rest” {more than 8 billion other human beings} “to come unto the knowledge of the truth” during the “thousand years” between this earth age and the eternal age that follows.
