Greek verb 2644 katallasso and Greek noun 2643 katallage are both from compounds of Greek preposition 2596 kata and Greek verb 236 allasso subjectively meaning to change one’s grammatical object and objectively means to be changed by one’s grammatical subject. Greek preposition 2596 kata means down in the genitive case as a grammatical object is down from their grammatical subject. Greek preposition 2596 kata was reasonably translated 107 times into English “according to” because the grammatical object’s thoughts are frequently “according to” their grammatical subject’s thoughts, which exemplifies why God should be the grammatical object’s one and only spiritual grammatical subject.
