Greek verb 1861 epangellomai and Greek neuter noun 1862 epangelma are from a compound of Greek preposition 1909 epi denoting superimposition and Greek masculine noun 32 angelos that was 179 times correctly translated into English “angel” which in the previous context is “the angel of the Lord”. English “chosen” in John 15:16 and Acts 9:15 were translated from Greek verb 1586 eklegomai and Greek noun 1589 ekloge respectively whereby God proves that Jesus in John 15:16 was referring to his 11 apostles after the death of Judas Iscariot and his 12^th apostle Paul in Acts 9:15 so when we see the English words “we” “us” “us-ward” “our” and “ourselves” the writers of the bible are referring to God’s “seven thousand” “chosen” “elect” “election” whom God’s apostles and  bible writers are amongst, which God has proved in greater detail in many prior posts. Greek noun 1589 ekloge was translated into both English “chosen” and “election”.
