English “vile” emboldened in James 2:2 was translated from Greek adjective 4508 ruparos which appears only in James 2:2 so we need to understand God’s definition of Greek verb 4506 ruomai Greek feminine noun 4507 ruparia Greek adjective 4508 ruparos Greek masculine noun 4509 rupos Greek verb 4510 rupaino Greek feminine noun 4511 rusis and Greek feminine noun 4512 rutis. Greek feminine noun 4507 ruparia was one time reasonably translated into English “filthiness” in James 1:21. Greek adjective 4508 ruparos was one time reasonably translated into “vile” in James 2:2. Greek masculine noun 4509 rupos was one time reasonably translated into “the filth” in 1Peter 3:21. Greek verb 4510 rupaino was twice translated into “filthy” in Revelation 22:11. Greek feminine noun 4511 rusis was three times translated into “issue” in Mark 5:25 Luke 8:43 & 44.
