God Is A Jealous God

English “I will shew” emboldened in Luke 6:47 “Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like” was translated from Greek verb 5263 hupodeiknumi from a compound of Greek preposition 5259 hupo meaning under in the genitive case as grammatical objects are under their grammatical subject and Greek verb 1166 deiknyo subjectively meaning to show and objectively means to be shown. God will not show anyone anything who is the grammatical object of any grammatical subject other than God. Greek verb 1166 deiknyo was translated into English “shew” and “Shew” in John 14:8 & 9 into “shew I unto” in the last verse of 1Corinthians 12:27-31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way”.
