God Defines His Process Pursuant To God’s Will

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

English “mark” emboldened in Romans 16:17 was translated from Greek verb 4648 skopeo which means to take aim at an objective in the sense of designing a process and driving stakes in the ground to measure progress toward the objective. Let’s use God’s will as defined in 1Timothy 2:3-6 as our objective “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour” “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” “Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” 1Timothy 2:3-6 are some of the best Greek to English translations in the bible but we still have a little clean up to do. English “men” emboldened in 1Timothy 2:4 as well as “men” and “man” in 1Timothy 2:5 were all translated from Greek masculine noun 444 anthropos being human beings, either female or male. Greek feminine noun 1135 gune designates female. Greek masculine noun 435 aner designates male.
