God Defines Elect And Election Via Greek Adjective Eklektos And Greek Noun Ekloge

1Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”.

English “chosen” emboldened in 1Peter 2:9 was translated from Greek adjective 1588 eklektos which describes and qualifies God’s “seven thousand” “elect” “election” who werechosen by God to consummate God’s covenant with Abraham and the Israelites plus the rest of the world as documented in 1Timothy 2:3-6 and Romans 11:4-7, 26-32 and the fathers’ noted in Romans 11:28 are the fathers emboldened in Romans 15:8 being the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel. God’s “seven thousand” “elect” “election” chosen by God “they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years” between this earth age and the eternal age that follows.
