God Defines Edification Via Greek Noun Oikodome

Romans 15:2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

English “edification” emboldened in Romans 15:2 was translated from Greek feminine noun 3619 oikodome which is the construction of a spiritual edifice as the abode of God’s spirit. Greek feminine noun 3619 oikodome was translated into “buildings” in Matthew 24:1 and Mark 13:1 & 2 and into “building” in 1Corinthians 3:5-9 “Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man”? “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” “So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase” “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward  according to his own labour” “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building”. And Ephesians 2:19-22 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God” “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” “In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord” “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit”.

The precursors to these verses are Acts 7:47-49 and Isaiah 66:1-2 and John 14:22-23 “But Solomon built him an house” “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet” “Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest”? “Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest”? “For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word”. “Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt  manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world”? “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him”. God’s “seven thousand” “chosen” “elect” “election” are each the spiritual edifice as the abode of God’s spirit during this earth age and “they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years” between this earth age and the eternal age that follows in which God’s “seven thousand” “chosen” “elect” “election” will cause “the rest” “to come unto the knowledge of the truth”.
