God’s perspective of Greek verb 5426 phroneo is best expressed within the context of Matthew 16:23 and Romans 8:5-6 even though English “for thou savourist” is not a great translation of Greek verb 5426 phroneo Jesus’ words to Peter are no less insightful. “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men” “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit”.
