God Overcame His Flesh Embodiment As Our Example

Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

English “he shall be holden up” and “to make” “stand” emboldened in Romans 14:4 were both translated from Greek verb 2476 histemi which means for God to cause his servants to stand where and when God wants them pursuant to God’s will as defined in 1Timothy 2:3-6. God’s tools to cause his servants to stand are best defined in Ephesians 6:10-19. Our example was set by God himself in the embodiment of Jesus Christ. While carrying his cross to his crucifixion “Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands” “Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee”? With one thought of ill will Jesus would have terminated this earth age and destroyed the world. “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots”. I have never turned the other cheek. If that should become a prerequisite of Greek verb 2476 histemi I pray for God to help me. If God had any intention of harming his children he would have done it two thousand years ago while they were taunting him and slapping him and spitting on him.
