World Religions Contradict Christ

1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

English “denieth” emboldened in 1John 2:22 were mistranslated from Greek verb 720 arneomai which actually means to contradict. Greek verb 720 arneomai is from a compound of Greek negative particle 1 a synonymous with English “un” or “not” and Greek verb 4483 rheo which was translated into English “was spoken” in Matthew 1:22-23 “Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying” “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us”.

1John 2:23  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
