1John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

English “truth” emboldened in 1John 2:21 was translated from Greek feminine noun 225 aletheia from a compound of Greek negative particle 1 a synonymous with English “un” or “not” and Greek verb 2990 lanthano which generically means to hide by covering. Greek feminine noun 225 aletheia was translated into “truth” in 2Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. Many English bible words were mistranslated from their original Old Testament Hebrew and New Testament Greek words by flesh human beings whose flesh thoughts and feelings covered and hid God’s intrinsic spiritual truth which is why God implores us in 2Timothy 2:15 to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. If God’s intrinsic spiritual truth was not covered and hidden by flesh thoughts and feelings God’s 2Timothy 2:15 instructions would not be necessary.
