God’s Business Is Election’s Business

Romans 12:8 “Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness”. English “diligence” in Romans 12:8 was translated from Greek feminine noun 4710 spoude being earnest and eager diligence. Greek feminine noun 4710 spoude was translated into English “business” in “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” into “care” in “Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you” into “diligence” in “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”.
