Election Are God’s Chosen Warriors

2Peter 1:3 “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”. English “virtue” emboldened in 2Peter 1:3 was translated from Greek feminine noun 703 arete which was translated into English “praises” in 1Peter 2:9-10 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” “Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy”. English “chosen” emboldened in 1Peter 2:9 was translated from Greek adjective 1588 eklektos which was 16 times translated into English “elect”. Greek adjective 1588 eklektos is the adjective form of Greek noun 1589 ekloge which is translated into English “election”. Greek adjective 1588 eklektos was translated into English “chosen” in Revelation 17:14 “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful”.
