English “maketh” and “ashamed” in Romans 5:5 were translated from Greek verb 2617 kataischuno which was translated into English “shall” “be ashamed” in Romans 9:33 “As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed” and into “shall” “be confounded” in 1Peter 2:6 “Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded”.  English “on” emboldened in both 1Peter 2:6 and Romans 9:33 were translated from Greek preposition 1909 epi denoting superimposition.
