Romans 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
English “promise” in Romans 4:13, 14, 16 and 20 were translated from Greek noun 1860 epangelia from Greek verb 1861 epangellomai which was translated into English “promised” in Romans 4:21 to follow. Both Greek noun 1860 epangelia and Greek verb 1861 epangellomai are from a compound of Greek preposition 1909 epi denoting superimposition and Greek noun 32 angelos correctly translated 179 times into English “angel”. God’s definition of Greek noun 1860 epangelia is best expressed in Acts 2:23 “Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear”. Abraham’s seed are not Abraham’s flesh descendents but rather God’s “seven thousand” “election” best explained in Romans 9:6-28 Galatians 3:14-19, 29 Ephesians 1:13 Hebrews 6:12-20. The antithesis of God’s promise/epangelia is stated in 2Peter 2:17-22.
The angel of God directly delivered God’s “word” to Abraham as documented in Genesis 22:11 “And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I”. The angel of God directly delivered God’s “word” to Moses as documented in Exodus 3:2 “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed” which is very different than God’s interaction with God’s “seven thousand” “election”. The flesh Old Testament/covenant/contract/law between God and Israel consisted of the aforementioned “angel of the LORD” delivering a short message to leaders and prophets of Israel who would superimpose God’s message to other human beings within walking distance. Two thousand and twenty one years ago God came to earth in the embodiment of Jesus Christ to perform processes pursuant to three primary objectives. {1} Divide “the rest” of humanity from God’s “seven thousand” “election” pursuant to God’s will as documented in Luke 12:51, Isaiah 28:10-13 and Romans 11:4-7, 26-32. {2} Die upon a Roman cross whereby God would make His Holy Spirit available to all he had “chosen” to receive His Holy Spirit during this earth age. This process is the spiritual New Testament/covenant/contract/law between God and “seven thousand” “election” “chosen” by God as documented in Romans 11:4-7. {3} “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour” “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” as documented in Romans 11:26-32 and 1Timithy 2:3-6. I am going to share God’s definition of the Greek words that were translated into English emboldened words in below italicized bible verses within quotation marks. English “of just men” was mistranslated from Greek adjective 1342 dikaios describing right. Previous post Cause and Effect of God’s Process fully explains all Greek verbs, nouns, adverbs and adjectives associated with Greek adjective 1342 dikaios. English “made perfect” below was mistranslated from Greek verb 5048 teleioo subjectively meaning to persuade one’s grammatical object to complete a process pursuant to the will and objective of the grammatical subject and objectively means to be persuaded to complete a process pursuant to the will and objective of the grammatical object’s grammatical subject. When God performs the action of Greek verb 5048 teleioo God persuades “seven thousand” “election” “the sons of God” to fulfill the spiritual “first commandment” by de-testifying the flesh thoughts and feelings of every flesh human being they have ever known in deference to God’s spiritual thoughts and ways until their heart soul and mind is entirely God’s spiritual thoughts and ways. God’s definition of Greek verb 5048 teleioo is reflected in the entirety of John 4:34, 5:36, 17:4, 17:23 and 19:28 even though the individual Greek verb 5048 teleioo was mistranslated into “to finish” “have finished” “be made perfect” and “might be fulfilled”. English “know” below was translated from Greek verb 1492 eido subjectively meaning for the grammatical subject to cause their grammatical objects to see through the eyes and know through the thoughts of the grammatical subject and objectively means to be caused to see through the eyes and know through the thoughts of their grammatical subject. God performed the action of Greek verb 1492 eido below and Paul received the action performed. English “good thing” below was translated from Greek adjective 18 agathos describing God alone. Matthew 19:17 Mark 10:18 and Luke 18:19 all confirm there is none good/agathos but one, that is, God. The only way any human being can do good/agathos things or see through God’s eyes or know through God’s thoughts is if God has “chosen” them to do so by reserving them to himself. The following italicized bible quotes within quotation marks differentiate the flesh Old and spiritual New Testament/covenant/contract/law. Emboldened words below are correctly translated in above paragraph. “For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest” “And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more” “For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart” “And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake” “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels” “To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect” “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel”. The apostle Paul said: “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin” “For I know that in me that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not”. The flesh Old Testament/covenant/contract/law consisted of the Angel of God delivering short messages to Abraham, Moses and a few prophets God chose to superimpose God’s message to others within walking distance. The Greek words in Hebrews 10:7 document that God’s spirit is present in Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament words but absent in English words. Today, God’s “seven thousand” “election” can sit at a computer and translate 783,137 King James Bible words back to their original Hebrew and Greek and in moments access every verse either the Hebrew or Greek word appears whereby God can define each word and ultimately every verse for them. God’s “seven thousand” “election” can then copy and paste God’s definition into a blog which is the spiritual New Testament/covenant/contract/law between God and God’s chosen “seven thousand” “election”.
