When we follow bible instruction to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” we must always be cognizant of the fact that Jesus came to earth to divide us and that God’s word is designed to do the same, as documented in Luke 12:51 and Hebrews 4:12.
