English “after” above is fully translated in prior posts.
English “mortify” was translated from Greek verb 2289 thanatoo which was translated into “killed” in Romans 8:36 and in “As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed” and into “become dead” in “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
