Greek adverb 3825 palin was correctly translated 142 times into English “again”. I hope your curiosity is piqued by my referring to Greek adverb 3825 palin as a French death blow. Greek adverb 3825 palin appears nowhere in the third chapter of John. English “again” in John 3:3 and 3:7 were grossly mistranslated from Greek adverb 509 anothen meaning from above. There are millions of grammatical objects of religion who erroneously profess themselves born again. If God was their grammatical subject they would know they were not born again by their faith in God. They would know they were born from above by God’s faith in them pursuant to God’s will. They have no idea what God’s will is, let alone how they would bring God’s will to fruition. They did not have enough interest in what they could do for God to invest a few minutes of their time to study the 13 verses containing the Greek adverb 509 anothen.
