Today There Are Many More Bastards Than Sons

Hebrews 12:8  “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons”.

English “partakers” was translated from Greek adjective 3353 metochos which qualifies those who take part in a process. Greek adjective 3353 metochos is from Greek verb 3348 metecho which was translated into “took part” in “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil”. “For many are called, but few are chosen because “few” take part in God’s process pursuant to God’s will. English “chosen” was translated from Greek adjective 1588 eklektos which is the adjective form of Greek noun 1589 ekloge which are the “election” God said “I have reserved to myself”. This is not rocket science. God chooses those who take part in God’s process pursuant to God’s will. God’s will is adequately defined in English in  Joel 2:28-31  John 1:9  Romans 14:11 Acts 2:17-20  Acts 24:15  Luke 3:6  2 Peter 3:9  Ephesians 1:10   Romans 8:21  Romans 11:26-32  and  1Timothy 2:3-4
