Consider the Irony of “The Word” Being Contradicted by the English Words of Grammatical Objects of Sinners

Hebrews 12:3 “For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds”.

English “of” in Hebrews 12:3 above was translated from Greek preposition 5259 hupo meaning under as grammatical objects are under their grammatical subject. Grammatical objects of sinners routinely contradict God today just as they did two thousand years ago. English “sinners” was translated from Greek adjective 268 hamartolos describing human beings who stray off the path into “the kingdom of God”.

Those that have entered into God’s rest “hath ceased from his own works” because “rightly dividing the word of truth” is more than a full time endeavor; it is God’s grammatical object’s first and most important priority. God’s grammatical objects must embrace being proved wrong, then disciplined and then work to exhaustion “rightly dividing the word of truth”. Love of God’s truth must eclipse everything else in order to “overcome” the same “world” and “so great a cloud of witnesses” Jesus “overcame”.
