I studied the book of John then Matthew and as I thought this is great, something in Matthew sent me to the book of Job, which was not consistent with what I had studied in Matthew and John. I thank God several times a day but rarely ask for anything subsequent to “your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” but after a few weeks of studying Job I thought give me a little help here Lord this isn’t working. Over a few months I asked for help several times but all I got was an unction to continue and after studying every Hebrew word to exhaustion I reached the 2nd verse of the 38th chapter of Job and God said “Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge”? My immediate reaction was not Godly. I knew God was talking to me regarding Job’s four buddies Elihu, Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar “that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge”. It was a lesson I will never forget. I will always “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour” “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work”.
