God’s “election” are Defined

Greek verb 1586 eklegomai was translated into English “chose” “choice” and “chosen”. Greek adjective 1588 eklektos was translated into English “elect” and “chosen”. Greek noun 1589 ekloge was translated into English “election” and “chosen” These three Greek words will be further defined in this post.

Greek verb 1586 eklegomai is best defined in previous Earthly Debt and Duty of God’s   “election” post. Greek verb 1586 eklegomai was translated into “chosen” in “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” which contradicts religious dogma. Human beings are not saved by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Human beings are chosen by God pursuant to God’s will. Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior is not in the bible. In fact, the combination of words accepting and Jesus appear in no King James Bible verses. Not in English. Not in Hebrew. Not in Greek.  

Greek adjective 1588 eklektos is concisely defined as “chosen” in “For many are called, but few are chosen” Greek adjective 1588 eklektos was translated into “elect” in Matthew 24:24 and Mark 13:22  “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” and “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect”. These false Christs and false prophets are not devils; they are human beings Jesus warned us about a few verses earlier “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you” “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many”. English “in” underlined in previous verse was translated from Greek 1909 epi being a primary preposition meaning superimposition. Aforementioned “man” did not say he was Christ; he represented himself as a minister of Christ and superimposed himself over Christ by displacing God, Christ, Spirit and Word as grammatical subject.
